Hillside Releases the 2007 Pinot Gris

Hillside Estate Winery & Bistro have just released their 2007 Pinot Gris, an unbelievably crisp yet full-bodied dry white which pairs well with seafood dishes and grilled chicken. Please see Winemaker Kelly Symonds Tasting Notes for this vintage below:

Tasting Notes:

To acquire the complexities that this wine is known for, we have sourced fruit from three vineyards along the Naramata Bench and Black Sage Road. Caramelized pears, melons, and tropical fruit are followed by a complex, rich and creamy mid-palate.

Winemaking:

The wine was fermented and aged in both stainless steel tanks and Hungarian oak barrels that incurred weekly batonage.

Aging Potential:

Made to drink now, this wine will age well for another 2-3 years.
